Ol’ AGS is a social organization first and foremost, but service has become vital to our identity.  We have three philanthropies; Kingdom Ranch, Isaiah’s Place, and Head Start.

Head Start of Bryan

Head Start is a federal program serving preschool children from low-income families in Bryan.  Children who attend Head Start participate in a variety of educational activities.  They also receive medical and dental care, have healthy meals and snacks, and enjoy playing indoors and outdoors in a safe setting.  Every Friday morning, we go there and spend recess with the children.

Isaiah's Place

Isaiah's Place is the only facility of its kind in the state of Texas providing an educational retreat facility focused on enriching the lives of the deaf community, including their families and friends.  Year around Isaiah's Place schedules retreats and workshops for people from all over the state in Whitney.  We have two service projects out there in the school year as well; one weekend each semester.

Kingdom Ranch

Kingdom Ranch is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian summer camp that serves special needs children and their siblings.  Their goal is to enable campers to experience an inspiring, activity filled, summer camp while building a better relationship with Jesus Christ.  We have two service projects out there in the school year; a new member weekend in the fall and a weekend with members' dads in the spring.

Ol’ AGS holds our philanthropies very close to heart and last year we were honored to raise and donate $17,000 to them.  This upcoming year, we have set the bar even higher.

Each year Ol' AGS hosts a variety of events to help us raise funds to donate to the three major organizations we support.

One of our biggest fundraisers is the annual Ol' AGS Powder Puff Football Tournament.  Happening every fall semester, this flag football tournament is made up of teams from a variety of female organizations and sororities on campus.  All the money collected from team fees and ticket sales goes toward our three sponsored philanthropies.

Ol' AGS also holds additional fundraisers throughout the year with various sponsors from in the community. We are always looking for new sponsorships in the Bryan/College Station area from establishments who would like to contribute to our success. If you intersted in sponsoring Ol' AGS please contact our finance chair

Ol’ AGS is made up of gentlemen from all walks of life and all across campus.  We strive to stay involved and participate in events from a variety of organizations.  This past year, we participated in events such as Big Man On Campus, Songfest, G.L.O.W. 5K, AXO Paintwar, Kappa Kolor Run, and many others. Paired with Zeta Tau Alpha, Kappa Alpha Theta, and Delta Gamma we are proud to say we took home first place in Chi Omega's Songfest three years in a row. We are excited for the upcoming year to not only continue and expand our involvement, but to defend our titles.
