The Old Army Gentlemen’s Society would like to honor members Brandon Minns and Zachary Herrod with the August Aggies First spotlight. The Aggies First spotlight is a monthly award given to members of OL’ AGS who truly embodies our motto of “Aggies First, Gentlemen Always” through service to Texas A&M.

Brandon and Zach recently received the Buck Weirus Spirit Award. This award recoginzes up to 55 students each year who demonstrate high involvement, create positive experiences thoughout the Aggie Community, impact student life at Texas A&M, and enhance the Aggie Spirit. Unlike other awards, the Buck Weirus Spirit Award recognizes those students who have made contributions to the university through participation in student organizations, Aggie traditions, and university events.

Brandon Minns has served as a Fish Camp counselor, the programming director of the MSC Fall Leadership Conference, finance officer for MSC Bethancourt, and is currently pursuing his master's degree in finance. Zach has served as a Fish Camp counselor, the head director of his freshmen leadership organization, FAST, Delegate Services Committee for COSGA, and is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in chemical engineering.

We are very proud of all that members like Brandon and Zach have accomplished and their leadership at Texas A&M! Congratulations Brandon and Zach!
