OL’ AGS hosted its 9th annual Old Army Gentlemen’s Society Powder Puff Football Tournament this November. 18 various Texas A&M sororities and women’s organizations competed hard all day out at Penberthy Fields for a shot at the title. In the end, Sigma Phi Lambda and Kappa Alpha Theta made it through the gauntlet to play in the Championship Game, with Phi Lamb ultimately taking home this year’s championship trophy.
This year’s tournament raised over $10,000 for the Head Start education center in Bryan. Head Start is an amazing national program that promotes early childhood development for economically disadvantaged children through education. Located in Bryan, the center provides a place to give pre-school aged children the best start possible in life by preparing them socially and educationally.
